Henry and Coach Xeno

Once upon a time in a pond not so far away, lived a toad named Henry.  One Summer morning, Henry started to go to Horton Hogsnake High School.  Henry heard an odd noise in the bushes.  It was a bunch of greedy wildcats trying to kill more prey than they needed.  He gasped, and without a second glance, he ran off in the direction of the Cola Bottle Police Station in hope of finding help.
But to his amazement he could not find any of the officers.  Then he ran out of the station only to find a heap of growing cockroaches singing for choir.  They got excited because if they won, they could get a lifetime supply of food scraps.  "Imagine if we never had to leave the comfort of a home to get food!" One of them said.  "Yum...," another added dreamily.  Henry finally got to his school and when he settled down in Mrs. Wiggleforth's classroom, there was yet another interruption!  The Ant Triplets were forming a parafe in class!  What's more is that they were carrying different spices that made everyone's eyes water.  Celia started to plead to Mrs. Wiggleforth to go to the bathroom to wash her eyes.  Pretty soon, everybody started asking to go to the bathroom until she could not stand it anymore.  "FINE! GO!" she yelled, which was not very loud to be honest.  It sounded more like this"fine. go." So as you see, most of the time, well actually all of the time, the students succeed in getting what they want.
She complained of this to Principal Felix and he immediately hired a coach.  "This should mold them into shape!" he said.  Soon the new coach arrived.  His name was Coach Xenophilisopholispocketingopingersoap Lovegood, but everyone called him Coach Xeno.  Then he asked Henry what to do if there was a tornado.  Henry answered the question correctly so he got to pick the dance theme of the day.  "You could pick The Yolk, The Jellyfish, or The Upbeat Growth," said Coach Xeno.  "I pick,,, umm... oh how about The Yolk?"  "Sure! Great choice, Henrry," he stated.
In Science they were learning how tow trucks get fuel.  When they reached for the coal, they had found that somebody had already begun grinding it for them.  Soon, it was time to go back home.  While he was hopping home, he saw a glint in the dirt.  "Whose could it be?"  After examining the object and identifying it as a watch.  "Oh!" he said, jumping back in surprise.  "This watch belongs to Samantha!  I better return it.  She could claim this.  He hopped over to Merrymouse Lane and delivered her watch back to her."  "Thank you, Henry! I have been looking all over for this." He said his goodbye, and set off back home.  He went home, did his homework and finally, after a long day went to bed, under a warm blanket of paste.

Harold the Toad

There once lived a toad named Harold.  He was very friendly and everybody liked to play with him.  One day, a new student named Freddy Frog entered the classroom.  He was a very, very big frog.  On Tuesday, while they were having recess, Samantha Snail got an injury.  She got a crack in her shell when she fell off a rock.  Everyone was very mournful because they had to go inside early.  Only Henrietta Hermit Crab and Harold felt sympathy for Samantha.  Soon afterwards, Harold heard a shriek in the grass.  It was Debbie Dragonfly.  She was trying to deliver mail, but got stuck in a hole.  Harold called Teacher Rosy and she lifted her out.  Soon, they found out how she got stuck and filled up the hole.

Helping Someone

Has there ever been a time when you helped someone?  I have.  It was one of those sad and heartbreaking days.
It started when I woke up at 6:37am.  That's when I saw my pet gerbil was dead.  It was as still as a statue.  I was so horrified by the unbearable sight I cried like a baby.
Shortly after, my mother and aunt appeared from the counter.  Just then my mom admitted she accidentally killed the gerbil.  "I am very ashamed," she said.  I was stunned by these words.
When I came home that afternoon, I ran to the lifeless pet,  Minutes later, my aunt and I were in the backyard digging a ginormous hole into the dry crusty earth.  Then we gently placed our little friend into the hole.
In every story there is a moral or lesson.  In this particular story the lesson is "If you can't help a human at least help an animal."

Going to Cambodia

Has there ever been a special place that you wanted to go with your family?  I have always wanted to visit Cambodia with my family.  I have always dreamt of visiting my dads birthplace, trying new foods, and smelling exotic herbs.
One reason I would like to go is to visit my dads birthplace.  I think it would be nice to see where he was born.  I could also observe how people crack open coconuts.  It would be very educational to see the process that farmers use to harvest rice.
The first thing I want to do is eat the food my dad grew up eating.  One recipe I would like to savor is homemade chicken soup.  A common seasoning Cambodians use is lemon skin.  Chicken soup with many kind of herbs is a common meal for farmers.
Another objective I would like to accomplish is smelling the exotic herbs.  You can't find them anywhere else because they are only native to Cambodia.  Some special herbs are used as health remedies.  When I leave Cambodia, I will bring a dried pressed flower as a souvenir.
For me, Cambodia is  special place to visit with my family. Three activities I could accomplish are visiting my dad's birthplace, eating new foods, and smelling exotic herbs.  Therefore when I am older, I hope to save enough money to visit this fantastic country of Cambodia.

A Place Where I Want to Go

Has there ever been a special place where you want to go with your family?  I want to go to Cambodia with my family.   One reason I want to go to Cambodia is because I want to see my dad's birthplace.  The first thing I want to do is eat the food my dad grew up eating.   Another objective I would like to accomplish is the smell the exotic plants.
One reason I would like to go there is to visit my father's birthplace.   It would be nice to see where he was born.   I could observe the way people crack open coconuts.  It would be educational to study the process farmers use to harvest rice.
The first thing I want to do is eat the food my dad grew up eating.   The main dish I would like to taste is homemade chicken soup.   A common seasoning Cambodians use for this soup is lemon skin.   This is a common dish that Cambodian farmers like to dine on.
Another objective I would like to accomplish is to smell the exotic plants.   You cannot find these plants anywhere else because they are only native to Cambodia.   Some special herbs are used health remedies.   When I leave Cambodia, I can bring  dried pressed flower as a souvenier.
